When Tom Edwards' wife, Teresa, refused to get out of bed to buy a car Monday morning, he left the room, smoked a cigarette, then came back in and shot her to death. Edwards told Columbus, Ohio police that he and his wife had been arguing about getting a new car the previous week.
After police investigated the shooting, Edwards confessed to firing four shots at his wife. Charged with aggravated murder, Edwards is being kept in custody with bond set at $750,000. Neighbors told Columbus's 10TV they were traumatized by the incident, but no one has said what the Edwards' relationship was like prior to the murder. Hat tip to Ross!
