YouTube user Attika has Legos, and is clearly not afraid to use them. In the past year, Attika has posted videos of some incredible automotive creations like a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a Lego Evo. Admittedly, many of the early builds are (still impressive) Lego kit creations. But this one leaves those builds in the miniature dust. The latest video is from Attika’s own beautiful mind—a Lego Technic 4x4 Drift Wagon.
Look at that thing slide into the turns like it thinks its a big boy! There are plenty of tinkers building drift Lego cars out there on the Tubes, but Attika has pulled one off with near perfection. Now, to his credit, Attika readily copped to using a few non-standard issue lego parts. His drift-mobile includes RC wheels and stronger, lighter bulbs for the head and brake lights. There are also changes that have less to do with aesthetic, like the 3D printed steering links and a uni joint with a 2L axle.
But when something this exuberant and graceful is the result, you can accept a few light modifications.
h/t to Andrew!
