Right now in Detroit, there are thousands of international visitors roaming the streets of downtown for Movement, the annual electronic music festival where dozens of DJs spin for three days straight. See, the Auto Show isn't the only big annual draw around here!
Ford, a regular sponsor of the festival, invited artists Ataxia and Secrets out to its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, where the Focus and C-Max are built. (Seems to be a lot more controlled than the last time artists tried to make music in a Ford plant...) There, they recorded sounds of the assembly line and made songs out of them.
The results sound nothing like the any of the several times I've been on an assembly-line floor, but definitely something to groove to. Check them out below.
