This Is The Best Way To Cover An Auto Show

The Los Angeles Auto Show was alright. It had some fun cars, mostly there to drown in the sea of crossovers and SUVs that will one day swallow the planet. Our own Jason Torchinsky found cool stuff in the basement, but our editor-in-chief Patrick George summed it up as “depressing as shit.” A never-ending cavalcade of crossovers and reminders about our looming autonomous apocalypse.

When shit’s depressing, you have to find a way to have fun.

Car Bros (not to be confused with Alfa Bros, who are not nearly as funny or at all bearable to listen to for more than a minute at a time) found a way to have fun in LA, and we’re all pretty jealous that we didn’t think of it ourselves. There are so many sly jokes and Motor Trend jabs that you may have to watch the video another time through, but you won’t mind. It’s eight minutes of pure, mocking greatness on what the modern auto show has become.

As to not ruin any of the monotone punchlines, just watch it for yourself:

Thanks, Car Bros, for giving us hope in this world. Here’s hoping that an autonomous crossover gone rogue doesn’t eat you one day, because we’ll all need your humor to survive the future.
