I don't know exactly what's so cool about this old bus, but I can't get over how sweet it looks.
It's a '35-'36 Kenworth bus. It wasn't the first double-decker (technically you should call this a bi-level), but it was way ahead of the curve. The now-legendary GM Scenicruiser didn't debut until a quarter-century after this Kenworth, as Curbside Classics states.
These things were sold almost exclusively in the Northwest, as an old thread on The H.A.M.B. explains, and they're unbelievably rare today. It's possible this rusted shell is the only existing copy.
