The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado High Desert concept rocks a return to the cladding we last saw on the mega-macho Chevy Avalanche. I dare say; the look works with the new body style. Then again, what wouldn't look good in this color.
This truck is basically a Silverado High Country crew cab with especially pretty paint; the main attraction is the lockable storage system in the bed and buttresses around the rear window. That color's called Deepwood Green (schwiiing) with Oxide Gold and Russet accents.
Here's a closer look at the enclosed cargo gear:
Big Brembo brakes and a custom exhaust were thrown in for good measure. Those 22" wheels are from the Chevrolet Accessories catalog.
Wouldn't call this a "wild concept," but I love it. Think this cargo-cladding should be added to the options list?
GM's other SEMA offerings include a few 2015 Chevy Colorados with their front aero-splitter missing.
