Jason had this great piece about the Honda Vamos the other day, and in it he highlighted one of the most unusual and funky cars that brand has ever put out.
But he also had what I thought was a fairly spot-on assessment of Honda:
For me, Hondas have always been the cars I was told I should buy by someone who didn't know shit about cars, when I was stuck on the side of the road, in the rain, trying to keep an SU carb from dumping fuel on an exhaust manifold. So, while I like and respect many Hondas, part of me has always found them too "safe."
Explorer 2-Person Inflatable Kayak
Comfortable for anyone
Nnjoy the water but don’t want to deal with the hassle of traditional kayaks? This is portable, lightweight, and easy to store when not in use.
Hondas have always been remarkably competent cars, reliable and good in the corners and full of VTEC fun. They're just not as "out there" as some automakers. Or at least, that's the perception here in the U.S.
I think it's time to do away with that perception once and for all and highlight some of the more interesting Hondas out there, like this Z600 recently featured on Petrolicious.
Your turn. What are the most strangest and most fascinating Hondas around? You can include bikes and scooters, too! Why not? I'll get us started.
