Every third Focus was sold with the 1.0 Ecoboost three-cylinder in Europe last year, and Ford has finally decided to offer it in the 'States too as an option with the 2015 Ford Focus. There's also a new six-speed automatic.
In Europe, you can get the 100 horsepower 1.0 with a five-speed manual, or the 125 hp version with a six-speed manual or a brand new six-speed automatic. The 1.5 four-cylinder is also upgraded using a new cylinder head design with improved cooling and integrated exhaust manifold.
In the US, the 2.0 four-cylinder remains the standard engine with the 1.0 being the big news. The 2015 Focus also comes with the Blackberry powered SYNC 2 connectivity system, hands-free perpendicular parking and active city stop function that helps by braking automatically at up to 30 mph.
No wagon though...
