10.) Pair of Dragsters
Suggested By: PipeSmokingVolvoDriver
Why It's Strange: One dragster up for grabs on Craigslist is odd. Two dragsters up for sale is very odd. But two dragsters, up for sale in different suburbs of Pittsburgh by different people, is one of the strangest things I've ever come across on The 'List. Neither of the dragsters are raceable at this time, and both seem to have been sitting in someone's garage/shed/backyard for quite some time.

9.) 1975 Jeep CJ7 Halftrack
Suggested By: Snabb-SAAB
Why It's Strange: Well, you don't see one everyday. Unless you live in Alaska, where this thing is from. Maybe you do up there. I have no idea. It sure does look like fun, though! And if it's not your cup of tea, the seller has offered to convert it back to four-wheel spec, though a price is not given for the conversion. As the old saying goes, "If you have to ask how much it'll cost to take the tracks off your old Jeep, you can't afford it."

8.) 1969 Subaru 360
Suggested By: Jagvar
Why It's Strange:Before there was the smart there was the suicide-doored Subaru 360. According to the seller, it's got brand new tires. That's good, because the rest of the car is in dire need of some love. It also, allegedly, will turn over its motor. I'd have to see and hear it to believe it. But hey, he's open to a trade, as long as it's not a boat. Our man in Tennessee has no need for a boat.

7.) GMC Eco Bus RV
Suggested By: wildrebel82
Why It's Strange: It's a 1975 GMC bus. It's got a diesel engine, though it can run on vegetable oil, biodiesel, or regular diesel. It features solar panels, "newish" tires, and LED lighting. The major selling points have to be its bamboo floors and the big rainbow painted down the side. If you're headed to Burning Man in two weeks, this is the bus for you.

6.) 1959 Berkeley
Suggested By: MelaMarcia
Why It's Strange: The Berkeley is rare, but not so strange. It's small, powered by a 328cc motorcycle engine that appears to be in good shape (from the one Craigslist photo provided). It's rust free, which is good, because the car is all fiberglass. The only problem with the car then, is the paint. The seller says it was repainted from its original cream color to this pink and purple abomination for a parade many years ago, and what a parade it must have been. If you're into Barbie cars that are only slightly too large for Barbie herself, this is the one for you.

5.) 1936 Dodge BBQ Pit
Suggested By: OA 5599
Why It's Strange: For all your mobile BBQ needs, this 1936 Dodge truck surely takes the cake. It looks properly coated in decades of hickory smoke and brisket grease, and ready to serve up something delicious in and around the Houston area to you and everyone you know. That's one of the biggest smokers I've ever seen, strapped to the back of a truck or not. All in all, it's a very impressive rig, and something I'd be delighted to eat out of any time.

4.) Daihatsu TriMobile
Suggested By: Potatoswatter
Why It's Strange: The TriMobile is exceptionally rare in the States. This one is "mostly complete" but is missing some engine components. Once that's all sorted out though, the seller says it's sure to smoke Piaggio Apes and Cushman Trucksters, so watch out! If you've got a vintage Japanese race car and need something to haul parts around in the pits, this could actually be the car for you.

3.) 1930 Chevy Popcorn Truck
Suggested By: pleasenopuffin
Why It's Strange: One of only ten remaining, this 1930's era Dunbar Popcorn truck is certainly interesting. All of the bodywork is handmade, though there's no word on whether or not the popper is still functional. It's built on a Chevy chassis, while most of the other popcorn trucks of the era were constructed on Ford's Model T. If you're a popcorn fanatic, then step right up.

2.) Mercury Bobcat Monster Truck
Suggested By: buttons
Why It's Strange: I wouldn't call this one "strange" so much as I'd call it "awesome." This Bobcat features the frame and drivetrain of a Bronco 2, along with such extras as a roll cage, CD player and power everything. The conversion was completed only two years ago, so it must still be in great shape, right?

1.) Homemade Camaro/Corvette Thing
Suggested By: rageagainstmrclean
Why It's Strange: Where do I even begin? This creation appears to be built on a Camaro chassis. It's been lengthened and widened by about a foot. It's got all sorts of questionable fiberglass bodywork and the rear end from a Corvette. Supposedly, it was built by John Silva, one of the men responsible for the Dodge Viper. It's got a 10-CD changer, huge wheels, and more ridiculousness than almost anything else out there.
