This film's premise is as simple as can be: Eighteen minutes of one Corvette chasing another around Road Atlanta during a NASA Thunder Group Toy Run. It's also about as good a racing movie as has ever been made.
This may be the perfect counterpoint to the video of the Juke-R at Silverstone: Georgia sunshine instead of English rain, rolling hills instead of a scientifically flat layout, real racing instead of tentative throttle prods and wobbly turns, a driver having the time of his life instead of a nervous journalist, snarling high-winding small blocks instead of tinny techno.
The entire film is a delight, but it pays to keep watching until the end; these two never catch what has to be the world's fastest Porsche 944, but the footage ends when it does for a reason.
