Happy news for UK "Top Gear" fans, and the worldwide audience that illegally copies and redistributes the show online with wild abandon. Crews have resumed work on the series today, according to the UK's Sun, in particular a segment featuring Jeremy Clarkson (presumably wedged) behind the wheel of a Lotus. That means the show will indeed buck pressure groups who've been hot for the BBC to tone down TG's fetishizing of speed. It also means that Hammond's unconscionably battered melon appears to be healing nicely. News came to light recently that Hammond would have surely died if he'd crashed five minutes later, as the airlift helicopter crew would have been off to the pub (they can only fly in daylight). Well, there's some luck.
