The Pagani Huayra explained

Owning a Pagani Zonda may be a pain when it comes to paying insurance or removing caked road salt from its intricate carbon fiber nooks, but it has its upsides, like doing 200 mph with the grace of a gazelle on drugs. That, and getting invited to Pagani owners’ events to hitch a ride at insane speeds in the new Huayra on the twisty public roads of Sardinia with Horacio Pagani, who’s totally cool in a polo shirt and shorts.

This is the life of Evo’s editorial director Harry Metcalfe, a Zonda owner, and for the eternal gratitude of us Zonda-less multitudes, he turned on a video camera for the hissing, screaming, twin-turbo V12 ride. We learn that the Huayra sounds like a fine afternoon at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and that “the inspiration for the Zonda was a 24 Hours of Le Mans car. For the Huayra, it’s an airplane at the moment of takeoff.” It’s a very educational video. Please enjoy.
