I saw this movie on the big screen as an 8-year-old and was sent into such a car-chase frenzy that I used up my entire stash of firecrackers that very afternoon, sending exploding Hot Wheels cars to their doom. Far dumber and more ineptly made than its early-70s car-chase contemporaries, Vanishing Point and Duel, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry still deserves a place in the Jalopnik Movie Canon, if only for the Charger, backroad-Stockton settings, and Plymouth Fury copmobiles.
