The word "insane" gets bandied around a lot around these parts, but truthfully, there are very few other words for the driver in this video. Because I don't know what other than insanity would encourage you to mow down a pedestrian, just strolling by on the sidewalk.

The incident occurred around 4 AM Saturday morning, according to Gothamist, at 30th Avenue and 45th Street in Queens. The victim survived, but with a broken leg and a concussion.

The driver is still being sought, and the car looks to me like it could be some sort of Toyota, either a Camry or Corolla, but I'm leaning more towards Camry. But it could be neither of those.

Or if you really, really hate dealing with the NYPD, and I don't know why you would, you could shoot it to us and pass it along. No matter what you do though, it'll all be kept confidential.

Because this is just nuts.
