Having lost its Sixties mini-Falcon spunk and quirk and early-Seventies swagger, the Cortina was the perfect car for the grey, dreary life of the traveling salesman in Mrs. Thatcher's Britain. Thankfully, this was its last model year, saved from ruining a glorious legacy by our beloved Sierra.
