Automakers — if you're listening, make these cars!
10.) GMC Canyon
Some people probably think this suggestion is crazy. Clearly they don't remember the badass Syclone. Add a couple of turbos to the Canyon, leave the 6 speed manual, and you'd make a hell of a sport truck.

9.) Mazda Miata
The Miata is pretty damn perfect as is but the Super 20 concept from a few years back proves that with some mild engine and suspension modifications it becomes even more perfect.

8.) Toyota Prius C
The i8/918/P1/LaFerrari have proven that hybrids can be serious performance cars. Toyota should turn the boring Prius C into something special. It's already light at just 2,500 lbs, and it just needs a little more power and suspension tuning to become an interesting hot hatch.
Then the littlest Prius could have some serious enthusiast cred.

7.) Subaru Legacy
The new WRX STI proves that Subaru has some talented performance car engineers. They should work their magic on the new Legacy, which has a lot of untapped performance potential.

6.) Mitsubishi Mirage
Before you roll your eyes and scroll down the page, let me remind you that the Mirage weighs less than 2,000 lbs. Yep, the Mirage weighs just 1,996 lbs. Throw a turbo on that little 1.2 L 3-cylinder and you'd have an absolute riot on your hands.

5.) Renault Twingo
Renault's new Twingo (which will come stateside as the new Smart ForTwo) is rear-engined and rear-wheel drive, which is always a recipe for fun. We've already seen the Twingo's performance potential in the wild Twin'Run Concept, so Renault needs to take some of that crazy and put in in the production car.

4.) Ram 1500
Besides the F-150 Raptor, we don't really have any wild half-ton performance trucks on sale right now. I'm not saying SRT should stick a Hellcat motor in a Ram 1500, but they should totally stick the Hellcat motor in a Ram 1500.

3.) Mazda2
The new Mazda2 looks fantastic but it's crying out for a Mazdaspeed version. If anyone could take the brilliant Fiesta ST off its throne, it'd be Mazda.

2.) Chrysler Town & Country
Everyone's trying to make minivans cool again: Toyota is calling the Sienna the "swagger wagon," Ford's calling the Transit Connect the "un-minivan," and Kia made the new Sedona look like a crossover. Want to know how to make a minivan really cool? Make it fast.
Someone needs fill the void left by the Mercedes R63 AMG, and I think SRT are crazy enough to do it.

1.) Ford Fusion
The Focus and Fiesta ST are undoubtedly great. The Fusion looks great, but lacks some oomph. Ford has that fancy new 2.3 L EcoBoost that's in the 2015 Mustang. The Fusion is already offered with AWD. Do you catch my drift?
The Fusion ST is a performance car that's waiting to happen — FoMoCo could easily have the coolest midsized sedan on the market. Get cracking, Ford!
