Today is truly one of the most special days of the calendar: a time to celebrate the beasts we love. I’m talking, of course, about Yak Appreciation Day, a day I’ve set aside for years to honor the noble, majestic and often underappreciated yak.

Let us come together and give thanks for the wonders of one of nature’s fuzziest bovids in the most non-commercial of ways. Hooray for yaks!
