Nissan is skipping the first couple races of the World Endurance Championship season to continue development of the GT-R LM Nismo and focus on dominating Le Mans. From the looks of things, they've scrapped the twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine for something a bit simpler and more human.
Alternately, this could be a clever ruse to throw all of their future opponents at the 6 Hours of Silverstone off. Look at this fanciful human-powered machine, and pay no attention to what we're doing over here.
Nissan won't be competing in the 6 Hours of Silverstone this weekend, but they did bring a
couple show cars of their Le Mans racers for the fans anyway.
One of these show cars is in a lovely, festive Easter-egg blue. Never mind that Easter was last week. According to Road & Track, the blue livery is for the Manchester City FC soccer team.
Looks great, even if it's just for show.
