It's raining throughout much of the country today, and it's going to be raining for probably the next month or so. But that doesn't matter, because wet weather produces some of the best racing the world has ever seen.
And the best racers are distinguished by their wet weather performance. With the grip down, suddenly the masters of car control emerge. Ayrton Senna, widely hailed as the greatest Formula One driver of all time, would drive the pants off of anything handed to him, but especially so when it was raining.
The dude became an absolute maniac in the wet, and that's part of what made him great.
So we might as well get used to the rain, at least for the next month, instead of just complaining about how damp everything is all the time.
