What's The World's Longest Drag Race?

Back in the '80s, the 24 Hours of Le Mans still hadn't put chicanes on its six kilometer-long Mulsanne straight. It meant that top-level prototypes ran full throttle for a solid 50 seconds, some topping 250 miles an hour.

Here's what a 230+ mph run down the straight looked like, from the wheel of a Porsche 956. If you've seen this video before, watch it again.

This made me wonder: has there ever been a longer drag race?

The run down the Mulsanne wasn't exactly a drag race, so I'm not exactly sure what the longest drag race ever was. I know running the standing mile has been popular in the States for a few years now. Do you know of any race that's longer?
