While we don't hold a job at the company that makes mirror hanging stinky pines, we do have a theory. The first component is the fumes of agribusiness. The next odd brew of scent arises from oil refinery by-products. These two combined with trucking and the greasy spoons that line 99 may in fact be responsible for the unique olfactory memory and orangy evening skies. Then again, it could all be coming from the Clamato factory near Fresno.
