Not only is the new 2017 Porsche Panamera impressively pretty with a wing straight out of a comic book, it’s also really flipping fast. According to Porsche, the new Panamera Turbo beat the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio as the fastest luxury sedan to lap the Nürburgring with a time of seven minutes and 38 seconds.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio reportedly set a lap of 7:39, so the Porsche only has it beat by a second, which is kind of suspicious. The now-old Panamera Turbo set a ‘Ring time of 7:52.
But the Panamera Turbo does have a 0-to-60 time of just 3.4 seconds from a 550 horsepower 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8. I guess we’ll just have to test it ourselves to be sure.
