One of the best and most beautiful sports cars around just got a little cheaper. Jaguar today announced the pricing for the 2017 Jag F-Type (good lord, we’re up to 2017 model year cars now? WOW) and it comes with a decent price cut.

The F-Type Coupe now starts at $61,400 and the convertible starts at $65,400, respectively. Those figures represent drops of $3,600 and $2,570 for those two models.

This is for the entry-level F-Type, with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 340 horsepower and a manual gearbox (hallelujah.) Moving up to the F-Type S will get you 380 HP and the bonkers V8 R will get you 550 HP, but you lose the manual on the R.

We knew this price cut was coming. Jaguar is slashing prices across the board to better compete with the Germans and Japanese luxury brands.

If it means cheaper F-Types, it’s a good thing.
