The new Mercedes-Benz CLA has certainly stolen some thunder from its big brother, the C-Class. It's cheaper, better looking and almost as large, even if it's front-wheel drive. That's going to change next year, though.

Mercedes teased the redesigned 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class that will make it look more like the bigger sibling to the CLA. Catch some glimpses of the exterior and there's a clear departure from the upright-ness of the current car, with a huge three-pointed star in the grille like the CLA's and some rounded headlights that probably have some LED squircles like the E-Class.

The company has also shown off some stills of the interior that again drops the squared-off approach that's in showrooms now for something lower and sleeker, maybe benefitting a little from the new S-Class' design.

Unfortunately, it also gets the CLA-style center screen that looks like a last-minute addition. Also, the gear lever has moved to the steering column and a giant COMAND controller is in its place.

Expect to see the new C-Class at an auto show in the spring.
