Chrysler's laying off 100 workers at the Detroit engine plant which builds the mill, and at some level, we understand. In times like these, those who want economy are going to want the six, those who desire oomph will go for the vaguely-hemispherical honker of a powerplant, and the one in the middle just isn't right.
