Driver's Eye View Of A Single Seater Hillclimb Run

What's it feel like to make a run up a tiny British hillclimb in an open-wheeled race car? Bumpy, loud, and way too fast.

This is actually British Hillclimb Championship competitor Alex Summers (remember this video?) at the wheel, and Jalopnik reader ZIPP explains what's going on.

I'd been running some driver's eye view tests on Sunday so was surprised to see this on the F1 when I got in. My tests were at a UK hillclimb in a DJ Firehawk powered by a supercharged 1400cc hayabusa engine (350kg/375hp and 0-100mph in 3.5s ish) using hd sunglasses.

It is a violent little beast and the tracks are much more bumpy than F1.

Keep the videos coming, ZIPP!
