In the 1930s and 1940s. Tatra of Czechoslovakia configured some of the most extreme expressions of art deco automotive streamlining ever. The T87, introduced in 1936, was probably the company's most extreme design, and incorporated a dorsal fin on the rear that aided in stabilizing the bulky car on the road.
