Culture and design blog electro^plankton made the $100,000 connection between Suzuki's PX concept and Arthur Radebaugh, an illustrator whose flying cars and bubble-topped cities reflected how people of preceding generations envisaged transportation of the future (i.e., now). Suzuki showed its PX prototype at last year's Tokyo motor show, its retro-futurist vibe — particularly its aluminum streamlining and art-deco touches — pulled nearly wholesale from Radebaugh's works. It's still cool to see all that old new stuff (or is that new old stuff?) side-by-side.
