Back the late '60s, performance-minded dealerships concocted some of the most insane muscle cars around merely by tricking out an order form. Chevrolet allowed dealerships like Yenko in Pennsylvania and Baldwin on Long Island to special-order extreme versions of its models for speed-freak customers. (Not meth-lab speed-freaks, of course. We mean horsepower junkies, just to clarify). Of course, we're simplifying this process quite a bit, but only because what really matters is the cars themselves. This gallery offers a look at some of the Yenko models still pounding pavement.
