Street-Legal Racer: Leblanc Mirabeau

Buyers with upward of $600,000 to channel toward a frighteningly fast street car have some new tires to kick. The Leblanc Mirabeau, built by Swiss firm Wysstec, is a LeMans-ready race car complete with a carbon-fiber body and monocoque chassis, with a 4.7 liter engine from Koenigsegg cranking out 148.9 hp per liter (that's 700 total, plus 627 lb/ft of helmet-crushing torque). At 1750 pounds, soaking wet, all that power has little standing it the way of escape velocity. Click for more pics.
