Step Aside, Beijingers, The President Is In Town

Those impressed by Cadillac One crossing the streets of New York will be equally moved by Chinese President Hu Jintao doing the same in his new custom limo fleet... or else they will be moved by Beijing police.

The FAW-built limo our friends at China Car Times have been wondering about debuted yesterday as part of the China Day celebration, which celebrates 60 years of communist rule. This was designed to look like previous presidential limos, which have historically been based on foreign models (Chrysler 300, Audi 100, Lincoln Town Car). Not only is this purported to be a Chinese platform, it's also rocking China's own home-built V12.

Happy Birthday China!

A friend of mine wants to move to China after he's finished college.

He, er, goes to art school.

I really don't think he gets it.
