Spyker Gets US Certification

We once called it the "most inelegant supercar ever built" (we're partial to the GT2 version), but despite our earlier lamentations, the Dutch-built Spyker will likely be coming to the US. Apparently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NAMBLA) has demolished enough of the company's $500,000 C8 vehicles to deem a couple of them roadworthy. Spyker officals are enthusiastic to start selling to the company's "#1 market," and will expand its dealer network to 20 by late 2005, including a new Las Vegas showroom opening this month.
