AutoWeek spies caught what is likely the new iteration of BMW's X5 sport SUV. Even covered in its spy-thwarting leather diapery, we can tell it's losing the raky shape that made the current model appealing, in favor of a more sedate bulbosity that won't likely win any wet T-shirt contests. Still, the new engines offered, Bimmer's updated three-liter base six, and optional four and 4.8-liter V8s, will give the full-sized bruiser more power overall. Looks slower, goes faster? Sounds like a crappy ad slogan. We'll keep working on it.
