How close is Maserati's new, 2+2 GT Coupe from an official reveal and launch? We're just not quite sure — some say 2007, others 2008 (we're going with the latter). But prototypes keep popping up hither and thither, like this one spies caught on the N rburgring. The voluptuous (we hope) new model will replace the current coupe and spider units, sporting a retractable steel roof and a more potent Ferrari V8, possibly in the 5.0-liter range.
