At first, we thought Edmunds Inside Line's Ed Hellwig had blown a rod when we saw the headline of this entry in his Straightline blog. (I mean, a hedgehog with cataracts could tell that's a BMW M5.) But it makes perfect sense that a carmaker (like Porsche) would test the engine and underpinnings of a super-secret model (like the Panamera) under a test mule disguised as one of its competitor's models. At least, that's what all the spy shooters at the N rburgring say. Who are we to argue?
