The Car Connection posted new spy shots of Volvo's next-generation S80 sedan, taken during hot-weather testing near Phoenix, Arizona. This set is the yin to the yang of earlier photos taken during cold-weather testing in northern Europe. (That's right, we've got S80 spy shots up the yin-yang.) Word is the S80, the primary platform-mate of Ford's Five Hundred and related vehicles, will share a low-emissions 4.4-liter V8, sourced by Yamaha, with the XC90 SUV. Standard motors will likely center on Volvo's new range of in-line sixes, with a 350hp turbo topping the series.
