A quick-thinking digicam jockey caught a nearly uncovered prototype of the upcoming Audi A5 coupe on the streets of Paris. As Carscoop surmises, it'll be based on the next-generation A4 platform and get such corporate powerplants as the 2.0 TFSI, 2.8 V6 FSI & 3.6 FSI — with S5 and RS5 models getting the 4.2-liter V8 in various states of tune. No word yet on which show will host its unveiling, but Detroit and Geneva are the obvious guesses — though they may just pull a TT and launch it showless.
