AutoWeek posted spy shots of the 2007 Toyota Tundra — caught by an AW reader during test runs in California — ahead of its launch in January. In essence, it's the same, double-cab model we've already seen at the Chicago show, which was powered by Toyota's new 5.7-liter V8 and six-speed automatic — though whether this tester has the smaller 4.7-liter V8 or the 4.0-liter V6 Toyota's expected to offer is obviously unclear. But it does give a good indication of what the unadorned base model will look like in action — minus the stainless-steel toolbox, of course.
