Automotive quickdraw, Brenda Priddy, caught the 2007 Mercedes CL nearly free of protective skivvies. With an expected introduction nearly a year away, at either NAIAS in Detroit or the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, the new CL looks to be a shade larger with a slightly redesigned grille and a body that may be a bit more curvilinear, with fewer hard angles. Then again, it could be a soft-sculpture Trans-Am, for all we know.
