Don't you hate it when you walk up to a car that looks like yours and hit the fob, only to discover that it isn't even your car? That happened today to a couple of University of Maine researchers who put a couple of plastic tubs of scallop innards in the wrong car.

LOOKING FOR A CAR/DRIVER WHO WAS AT SOMESVILLE ONE STOP TODAY AROUND 3PM

were you driving a Blue 4 Door Chevy Car with State, "University" plates with two wreaths in the rear seat?
Do you now have a large plastic tub with cups containing scallop guts intended for a research project at the University of Maine? My husband put them in the wrong car by mistake. Please call (207) 244-7868

The Ellsworth, Maine Police Department put out the word pretty quickly, so hopefully Michelle Mays will get her guts back before they end up on a griddle or in someone's trash.
