Somebody Drove The Fourth-Largest Yacht On Earth To Land Rover's Party

The sparkling Manhattan skyline is something to behold from the deck of the USS Intrepid, but its shine was eclipsed by a massive mega-yacht lit up like a strip club parked "across the street" on the night of Land Rover's Discovery Concept reveal.

The Topaz is recognized as the fourth-largest private yacht in the world at 482 feet, and is said to be worth $461 million.

It's supposedly owned by a Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, minister of presidential affairs and member of the Abu Dhabi royal family.

He owns the Manchester City soccer team, probably a bunch of other profitable shit, and 33% of Virgin Galactic— which is probably why he was hanging out at the Land Rover reveal.

I can't even speculate what kind of running cost he ran up motoring this thing to New York from the UAE, but I'm sure the dockmaster was rubbing his palms together when Topaz pulled up and popped open its fuel filler.
