A surprise snow storm shut down the Nürburgring for a bit this Sunday after it slicked down the pavement for pure chaos. Some drivers enjoyed those cold, wet conditions more than others. To the highlight reel, away!

You’re not technically supposed to drift during Touristenfahrten sessions where the Nordschleife portion of the Nürburgring is open to the public like it’s the world’s greatest toll road. However, when conditions are this slick, some just can’t help but to catch a dab of oppo.

Sadly, others catch the wall, but let’s be real here: getting caught out on track time-spec summer or racing tires in the snow is the worst. The guy in the Volkswagen pickup looks like he’s having fun, though.

Bridge to Gantry scribe and occasional Jalopnik contributor Dale Lomas seemed to be making the most of it in his latest toy, a 68 horsepower Toyota Yaris. You can see his little yellow peanut getting passed by an older white Mercedes in the compilation above, but his in-car clip is way more fun:

Lomas was stuck out on Nankang AR1 semi-slick tires, but held it together beautifully and broke some kind of record for giggles per minute just in this brief clip.
