At the age of seven, we made our first pilgrimage to the Magic Kingdom. Naturally, our favorite land was Tomorrowland, having grown up on the tail end of Super Science's great promise. Now Super Science, (along with Dr. Jonas Venture, Sr. and Race Bannon) seems to be dead. We suppose in an age of lowered expectations, the Disneyfiers in Hong Kong didn't want children to know the thrill of a smoke-belching, vaguely '68-82-Corvette-looking vehicle with an honest-to-goodness internal combustion engine. No, HK Disneyland's Honda-sponsored Autopia features these bulbous little E-Typey buggers with electric powertrains. The Future was their assignment. They botched it.
