Just in time for people to start siphoning gas and wondering how much that Geo Metro out back might be worth, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has created custom fuel economy labels for used vehicles.
The labels offer EPA fuel economy estimates for vehicles build since 1984, and a QR code that links to the EPA's page for that vehicle. Some owners may wonder why the numbers don't match what was originally on their sticker; the EPA revised its estimates in 2008 to make them closer to what people actually get.
To find your clunker's figures, go here, so you can proudly gloat about your 1986 Honda CR-X HF getting better gas mileage than many recent hybrid vehicles.
