The largest fan club behind the device that was to revolutionize the way we roll will soon cease to be. The Segway Enthusiasts Group of America is pulling the plug at he end of this month due to inactivity. The group's treasurer said decline was partially due to manufacturer not willing to supply fan club with a list of customers any newer than three years old. Segway insists that sales are brisk, with annual growth of 50%. The company is toying with the idea of starting their own corporate sponsored fan group. Those interested in joining the 16 mph club can pick up a base model Segway for a shade over 5 large. [Lack of Interest via SFGate]

I purchased a 1972 GMC Suburban 3 door just a few months ago. Custom Tropical Turquoise paint, shaved door handles, custom interior. Lowered on perfect torque thrust wheels with new tires. Rebuilt in 2003 Caddilac 500 big block installed. Runs fantastic. Dual A/C. Some rust and paint and interior is starting to show age. Going to restore. Out of my 15 cars owned (including some really nice luxo's) this is becoming my favorite.

Paid $3200.

Bite me Segway. NERD ALERT!
