Sure, it looks like a Chevrolet Volt that wandered into a pizza oven, but when you're talking about a brand that once inspired a quasi-satanic kidnapping legend, you could do a heck of a lot worse.
Two Russian design students worked this up out of a desire to see the Volga name back in Russia's showrooms. (GAZ has never really gone away, though it has been bastardized six ways from Sunday.) It's no Cold War watercar, but if you're trying to give Russia some modern vehicular chutzpah, it's a step in the right direction.
