The C'eed concept car Kia showed off in Geneva earlier this year was one of the most thoughtful interpretations of a boring-ass genre we'd ever seen. Now, the company announced it's using the same name (think: seed) to badge its new European crossover based on the prototype. The production model of the utility hatch, which will debut in Paris in September, is somewhat awkwardly named for "community of Europe" (CE) and "European design" (ED). It'll be built in Slovakia for sale in December '06.
