ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Swedish automaker Saab is asking a hefty tax break from Royal Oak for building its new headquarters in the city.
A building on Delemere Court near 14 Mile Road in Royal Oak is one of three sites the company is considering to place its headquarters. Saab is also considering two sites in Connecticut. From talking with people, many are not to excited about this idea becuase of only bringing in 50 jobs vs. the amount of the tax break they are asking for.
