If you watched the World Cup last year, you might remember the name Andrey Yeshchenko from Russia’s team. Apparently he’s better at soccer than he is at driving, because he just completely destroyed his Nissan GT-R in a high-speed crash into a pole.
Luckily for Yeshchenko, he walked away from the crash without being seriously injured, according to news reports.
Yeshchenko, currently a defender for Kuban Krasnodar on loan from Anzhi Makhachkala (I don’t know what any of those things mean either), was said to be driving 170 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, which would put his pre-pole speed at about 105 mph. The crash was caught by a CCTV camera.

At least he’s okay. Can’t say the same for the GT-R.
