Truck YeahThe trucks are good!

A mobile TV truck used to produce Rich Eisen's NFL Network show was stolen out of a Miami Gardens, Florida hotel today where it was parked and being prepped for tomorrow's football game at Sun Life Stadium.

Florida's Local 10 News talked to Miami PD who were "unaware of the theft" as of a few hours ago, so maybe it is a drill and Eisen just isn't in on it.

The truck would have been loaded with many dollars worth of gear, but they tend to be pretty nondescript from the outside. Here's one hanging out in New York:

An inside job, perhaps?

Not sure what this means yet for the show, but I'm sure they've got contingencies lined up if South Florida's Finest can't find the giant rolling box by tomorrow evening.

(Update: The trailer carrying the show's TV equipment was found the following day, the cab escaped into the night.)

That is seriously a million dollar unit with all the gear in there. And it's also so specialized and the work history is covered so well that I doubt you can offload one whole. Even to try to part it out would be a ridiculous undertaking. Doesn't seem worth it in my book...

I mean this is one little corner of a big TV truck. Theres another 40 feet of this stuff...
